Expletives are really the instant reaction one gives during different kinds of situation. One can witness these during different types of emmtional state of mind... joy ,,, sorrow,,, etc.....
I remember a lot of these i came across from varying fields.....
"Chaila" is the one expressed in case of a disappointment or when one has to pull someone down if he is getting over the board.
Sachin Tendulkar calls "Chumma Shot" whenever he plays a very satisfying or delightful stroke. Once a commentor aghast looking at a stroke he played when the delivery was really fabulous said.... " Oh !! He connected well ............".
Nayan Mongia behind the stumps always a chatter used to say..... "Aai Ga.......... very much a Marathi thing to express something closely missed"
"Ghanta" is a retort one gives when has to reject someones's comments.
Otherwise Bombay's typical comments are " Chal Paka Mat, Dimak ka dahi mat kar,,,, aey bhendi.." and like those,, tapori style.
Amongst my friends ... to deride someones use of words like "Jhamparpangya,,, Santar Solya..... have brought laughters alot"
In the office , i hear my colleagues saying "There you go" , "That the way......" "Correct !! Correct!!".
So it's always like that the ears are ready to hear something new....
What say ? Mamu!!!
