I am writing this because i have never been on this side. The other side here means that knowing throughly what a software is doing. I have mostly worked on the application level and hence many a times the way of working has been like a trial and error.Ofcourse one has to go by this way about say unknown API but a very logical and rational thinking makes one a very smart worker.
I feel that people can imagine a lot about what happens with their certain action in the code. How the background thing will work. The can very well visualise the entire process. I have come across lot many such people and their thoughts and knowledge certainly makes me wonder if they are the ones who invented C,C++ or Java for that matter.
I am slowly and steadily following such approach and yes, this certainly improves one's skills to a greater extend. But there is no doubt that such guys are very selfmade and very focussed on their job.
Being a UI worker i have believed what i see.... hence the background things i haven't really worried about. But things are changing for the better and the feel is very satisfying.
Would like to continue in the same vein.... always....
